I’m a journalist currently based in Mexico City, but have written from Washington, D.C., London, Moscow, Boston and Jersey City. I’ve reported on financial markets and international institutions, covered the engagement of Prince William and Kate, and dug deep into the world of fake drugs and drug shortages. I worked as a full-time reporter for Reuters for more than five years, with my articles picked up in the New York Times, the Atlantic, the Washington Post and the South China Morning Post.
Now I’m working on a project of interviews with some of Mexico City’s residents who live in the peripheries of this megalopolis, focusing on their struggles to work in the informal economy and improve their livelihoods. Check out snippets from the interviews as I post them here.
